(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ يَعْنِي أَبَا إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْمُعَقِّبَ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْفُقَيْمِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُجَاهِدٌ ، عَنْ جُنَادَةَ بْنِ أَبِي أُمَيَّةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ قَتَلَ قَتِيلًا مِنْ أَهْلِ الذِّمَّةِ لَمْ يَرَحْ رَائِحَةَ الْجَنَّةِ ، وَإِنَّ رِيحَهَا لَيُوجَدُ مِنْ مَسِيرَةِ أَرْبَعِينَ عَامًا " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever kills a dhimmi (non-Muslim under Muslim protection) will not even smell the fragrance of Paradise, although its fragrance can be perceived from a distance of seventy years."
