(حديث موقوف) حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ هُبَيْرَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مُرَيْحٍ الْخَوْلَانِيِّ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا قَيْسٍ مَوْلَى عَمْرِو بْنِ العاص ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو ، يَقُولُ : " مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَاةً ، صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَمَلَائِكَتُهُ سَبْعِينَ صَلَاةً ، فَلْيُقِلَّ عَبْدٌ مِنْ ذَلِكَ أَوْ لِيُكْثِرْ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that whoever sends blessings upon the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, once, Allah and His angels send mercy upon him seventy times. Now it is up to the servant whether he increases or decreases the sending of blessings.
