(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، حَدَّثَنِي حُيَيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، أَنَّ أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدَّثَهُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَكَرَ فَتَّانَ الْقُبُورِ ، فَقَالَ عُمَرُ : أَتُرَدُّ عَلَيْنَا عُقُولُنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " نَعَمْ ، كَهَيْئَتِكُمْ الْيَوْمَ " ، فَقَالَ عُمَرُ : بِفِيهِ الْحَجَرُ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) mentioned the angels who test in the graves. Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "O Messenger of Allah! Will our intellects be returned to us at that time?" The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Yes, absolutely, just as they are today." Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "Then there will be a stone in his mouth (so that he may test me)."
