(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا حُيَيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، أَنَّ أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْحُبُلِيّ حَدَّثَهُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَالَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، إِنَّ الْمُؤَذِّنِينَ يَفْضُلُونَا بِأَذَانِهِمْ ، فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " قُلْ كَمَا يَقُولُونَ ، فَإِذَا انْتَهَيْتَ ، فَسَلْ تُعْطَ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that a man asked the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him: "O Messenger of Allah! Do the muezzins have superiority over us because of the call to prayer?" The Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whatever words they say, you should also say them, and when it ends, whatever supplication you make will be fulfilled."
