(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا الثَّوْرِيُّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ الْجَزَرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَمْشِي بَيْنَ الصَّفَا , وَالْمَرْوَةِ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : إِنْ مَشَيْتُ فَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يَمْشِي " ، وَإِنْ سَعَيْتُ فَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يَسْعَى " .
Saeed bin Jubair, may Allah have mercy on him, says that I saw Sayyiduna Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, walking at a normal pace between Safa and Marwah, so I asked him, "Are you walking at a normal pace?" He replied: "If I walk at a normal pace, I have seen the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) walking like this, and if I walk quickly, I have also seen the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) walking like that."
