(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ ، عَنِ مُنْذِرِ أَبِي يَعْلَى ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ ابْنِ الْحَنَفِيَّةِ ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : كَانَ رَجُلًا مَذَّاءً ، فَاسْتَحْيَا أَنْ يَسْأَلَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْمَذْيِ ، قَالَ : فَقَالَ لِلْمِقْدَاد : سَلْ لِي رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الْمَذْيِ ، قَالَ : فَسَأَلَهُ ، قَالَ : فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " فِيهِ الْوُضُوءُ " .
Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said that I used to have a lot of madhi (pre-seminal fluid), and I felt shy to ask about this issue myself. I asked Sayyiduna Miqdad (may Allah be pleased with him) to ask the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about this issue. So he asked about it, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Such a person should perform wudu (ablution)."
