(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبِيدَةُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي فَيُعَرِّضُ الْبَعِيرَ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْقِبْلَةِ " ، وقَالَ عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ : سَأَلْتُ نَافِعًا ، فَقُلْتُ : إِذَا ذَهَبَتْ الْإِبِلُ ، كَيْفَ كَانَ يَصْنَعُ ابْنُ عُمَرَ ؟ قَالَ : كَانَ يُعَرِّضُ مُؤْخِرَةَ الرَّحْلِ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْقِبْلَةِ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would place his mount in front of him as a sutrah and would pray.
