(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " لَا يَزَالُ هَذَا الْأَمْرُ فِي قُرَيْشٍ مَا بَقِيَ فِي النَّاسِ اثْنَانِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The caliphate will remain among the Quraysh as long as two men (are united and in agreement).
