(حديث موقوف) حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنِي سُرَيْجُ بْنُ يُونُسَ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَحْبُوبُ بْنُ مُحْرِزٍ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ فَرُّوخَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : " شَهِدْتُ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ دُفِنَ فِي ثِيَابِهِ بِدِمَائِهِ ، وَلَمْ يُغَسَّلْ " .
Farukh says that I was present at the time of the martyrdom of Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him). He was buried in his blood-stained clothes and was not given a bath (because he was a martyr).
