(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا يَعْجَلْ أَحَدُكُمْ عَنْ طَعَامِهِ لِلصَّلَاةِ " ، قَالَ : وَكَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ يَسْمَعُ الْإِقَامَةَ وَهُوَ يَتَعَشَّى ، فَلَا يَعْجَلُ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When food is placed before any of you and the prayer is established, then do not stand for the prayer before finishing (the meal)." Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) himself also used to do the same.
