Musnad Ahmad 4356 — Musnad of Abdullah ibn Mas'ud
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو قَطَنٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ، قَالَ : لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ : إِذَا جَاءَ نَصْرُ اللَّهِ وَالْفَتْحُ ، كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُكْثِرُ أَنْ يَقُولَ : " سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ ، اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ، إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ ، اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ، سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ ، اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ، سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that when Surah Nasr was revealed to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), he began to say frequently: "«سُبْحَانَكَ اللّٰهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ اللّٰهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ»" "Glory is to You, O our Lord! And all praise is for You. O Allah! Forgive me, for surely You are the Acceptor of repentance, the Most Merciful."
