Musnad Ahmad 4192 — Musnad of Abdullah ibn Mas'ud
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ ، عَنْ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ، قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا أَمْسَى قَالَ : " أَمْسَيْنَا وَأَمْسَى الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that at the time of evening, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to say: «أَمْسَيْنَا وَأَمْسَى الْمُلْكُ لِلّٰهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللّٰهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ» "We have entered the evening and the dominion at the time of evening also belongs to Allah, and all praise is for Allah. There is no deity except Allah, He is alone, He has no partner."
