Musnad Ahmad 3922 — Musnad of Abdullah ibn Mas'ud
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ السَّائِبِ ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ دَاءً ، إِلَّا أَنْزَلَ لَهُ دَوَاءً ، عَلِمَهُ مَنْ عَلِمَهُ ، وَجَهِلَهُ مَنْ جَهِلَهُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) in a marfu' form that Allah has sent down no disease except that He has also sent down its cure. Whoever knows it, knows it, and whoever remains unaware of it, remains unaware.
