حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : " كُنَّا نَرَى الْآيَاتِ فِي زَمَانِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَرَكَاتٍ ، وَأَنْتُمْ تَرَوْنَهَا تَخْوِيفًا " .
Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: In the blessed era of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), we used to consider miracles as blessings, whereas you regard them with fear.
