(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يُؤْتَى بِالسَّبْيِ ، فَيُعْطِي أَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ جَمِيعًا ، كَرَاهِيَةَ أَنْ يُفَرِّقَ بَيْنهُمْ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that if several slaves from the same family came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), he (peace and blessings be upon him) would give them all together to one household, because he (peace and blessings be upon him) disliked causing separation among them.
