(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يَجْدِبُ لَنَا السَّمَرَ بَعْدَ الْعِشَاءِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) considered storytelling after the 'Isha prayer to be objectionable for us.
