(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ . وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ ، قَالَ : صَلَّى عُمَرُ الصُّبْحَ وَهُوَ بِجَمْعٍ ، قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ : كُنَّا مَعَ عُمَرَ بِجَمْعٍ ، فَقَالَ : إِنَّ الْمُشْرِكِينَ كَانُوا لَا يُفِيضُونَ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ ، وَيَقُولُونَ : أَشْرِقْ ثَبِيرُ ، " وَإِنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَالَفَهُمْ ، فَأَفَاضَ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ " .
Amr bin Maymoon says that once Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) led us in the Fajr prayer at Muzdalifah and said that the polytheists would not return before sunrise and used to say, "Let Mount Thabir become bright." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not follow their way and departed from Muzdalifah towards Mina before sunrise.
