(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ ، أَنْبَأَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي زِيَادٍ ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَوْ جَدِّهِ ، الشَّكُّ مِنْ يَزِيدَ ، عَنْ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " تَوَضَّأَ بَعْدَ الْحَدَثِ ، وَمَسَحَ عَلَى خُفَّيْهِ وَصَلَّى " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) performing ablution after having become impure, in which the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) wiped over his leather socks and offered prayer.
