مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَا

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " نُصِرْتُ بِالصَّبَا ، وَأُهْلِكَتْ عَادٌ بِالدَّبُورِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I was helped by the east wind (the wind that comes from the direction of the door of the Ka'bah), and the people of 'Ad were destroyed by the west wind."
