(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يزيدٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " يَرِثُ الْوَلَاءَ مَنْ وَرِثَ الْمَالَ مِنْ وَالِدٍ ، أَوْ وَلَدٍ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "The inheritance of wealth will go to the one who receives the wala', whether he is a father or a son."
