مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَا

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي رَزِينٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ إِذَا جَاءَ نَصْرُ اللَّهِ وَالْفَتْحُ " عَلِمَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ قَدْ نُعِيَتْ إِلَيْهِ نَفْسُهُ " ، فَقِيلَ : إِذَا جَاءَ نَصْرُ اللَّهِ السُّورَةَ كُلَّهَا .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that when Surah Nasr was revealed, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) realized that news of his passing had been given in this Surah.
