مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَا

Musnad Ahmad 3017 — Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : " مَرَرْتُ أَنَا وَالْفَضْلُ عَلَى أَتَانٍ ، وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي بِالنَّاسِ فِي فَضَاءٍ مِنَ الْأَرْضِ ، فَنَزَلْنَا وَدَخَلْنَا مَعَهُ ، فَمَا قَالَ لَنَا فِي ذَلِكَ شَيْئًا " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that once I and Fadl were passing by riding on a donkey, at that time the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was leading the people in prayer in the desert. We dismounted from our ride and joined the prayer with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not say anything to us.
