(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُدَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الضُّحَى ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : أَصْبَحَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ ، وَلَيْسَ فِي الْعَسْكَرِ مَاءٌ ، فَأَتَاهُ رَجُلٌ ، فَقَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، لَيْسَ فِي الْعَسْكَرِ مَاءٌ . قَالَ : " هَلْ عِنْدَكَ شَيْءٌ ؟ " قَالَ : نَعَمْ . قَالَ : " فَأْتِنِي بِهِ " ، فَأَتَاهُ بِإِنَاءٍ فِيهِ شَيْءٌ مِنْ مَاءٍ قَلِيلٍ ، قَالَ : فَجَعَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَصَابِعَهُ عَلَى فَمِ الْإِنَاءِ ، وَفَتَحَ أَصَابِعَهُ ، قَالَ : فَانْفَجَرَتْ مِنْ بَيْنِ أَصَابِعِهِ عُيُونٌ ، وَأَمَرَ بِلَالًا ، فَقَالَ : " نَادِ فِي النَّاسِ الْوَضُوءَ الْمُبَارَكَ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that one day when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) woke up in the morning, it was found that the army had no water. So a man came and said: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)! The army has no water. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked him, "Do you have a little water?" He said: Yes! The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Bring it to me." After a short while, he brought a vessel in which there was very little water. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) placed his fingers on the mouth of the vessel and spread them. Immediately, springs began to gush forth from the fingers of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) to announce among the people: "Come and take the blessed water."
