Musnad Ahmad 27571 — From the Hadith of Asma' bint Yazid
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ , أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ , عَنِ ابْنِ خُثَيْمٍ , عَنْ شَهْرِ ابْنِ حَوْشَبٍ , عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ يَزِيدَ , قَالَتْ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " يَمْكُثُ الدَّجَّالُ فِي الْأَرْضِ أَرْبَعِينَ سَنَةً , السَّنَةُ كَالشَّهْرِ , وَالشَّهْرُ كَالْجُمُعَةِ , وَالْجُمُعَةُ كَالْيَوْمِ , وَالْيَوْمُ كَاضْطِرَامِ السَّعْفَةِ فِي النَّارِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Asma (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The Dajjal will remain on the earth for forty years; one of his years will be like a month, one month like a week, one week like a day, and one day will be like a spark flaring up."
