حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ , عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ , قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ شَيْبَةَ , وَابْنُ بَكْرٍ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ , وَرَوْحٌ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ شَيْبَةَ , أَنَّ ابْنَ الْمُسَيَّبِ أَخْبَرَهُ , أَنَّ أُمَّ شَرِيكٍ أَخْبَرَتْهُ : أَنَّهَا اسْتَأْمَرَتْ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي قَتْلِ الْوَزَغَاتِ , " فَأَمَرَهَا بِقَتْلِ الْوَزَغَاتِ " , قَالَ ابْنُ بَكْسٍ وَرَوْحٌ : وَأُمُّ شَرِيكٍ إِحْدَى نِسَاءِ بَنِي عَامِرِ بْنِ لُؤَيٍّ ".
It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Shuraik (may Allah be pleased with her) that she sought permission from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to kill a lizard, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) granted her permission. It should be noted that Hazrat Umm Shuraik (may Allah be pleased with her) belonged to the Banu Amir bin Lu'ayy.
