Musnad Ahmad 26388 — Supplement to the Musnad of ‘A’ishah
حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى وَحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ , عَنْ يَحْيَى , عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أُمِّ بَكْرٍ , أَنَّهَا أَخْبَرَتْهُ , أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ فِي الْمَرْأَةِ تَرَى الشَّيْءَ مِنَ الدَّمِ يَرِيبُهَا بَعْدَ الطُّهْرِ ؟ قَالَ : " إِنَّمَا هُوَ عِرْقٌ أَوْ عُرُوقٌ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said regarding the woman "who, after becoming pure from her menstruation, sees something that puts her in doubt," that this is blood from a vein.
