Musnad Ahmad 26209 — Supplement to the Musnad of ‘A’ishah
حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ شِهَابٍ , عَنْ عُرْوَةَ , عَنْ عَائِشَةَ , قَالَتْ : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَسْرُدُ سَرْدَكُمْ هَذَا , يَتَكَلَّمُ بِكَلَامٍ بَيْنَهُ فَصْلٌ , يَحْفَظُهُ مَنْ سَمِعَهُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not narrate hadiths in the manner that you narrate; rather, he would speak in such a clear manner that every listener would be able to remember it.
