Musnad Ahmad 26141 — Supplement to the Musnad of ‘A’ishah
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَرْبٌ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ , أَنَّ عَمْرَةَ أَخْبَرَتْهُ , أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ حَدَّثَتْهَا ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " تُقْطَعُ الْيَدُ فِي رُبُعِ دِينَارٍ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The hand of the thief who steals a quarter dinar or more should be cut off.
