Musnad Ahmad 25978 — Supplement to the Musnad of ‘A’ishah
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ , عَنْ شُمَيْسَةَ , عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " نَهَى عَنْ نَبِيذِ الْجَرِّ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade nabidh (fermented drink) made in a pitcher.
