حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ , قَال : َأَخْبَرَنَا قَتَادَةُ , عَنْ مُعَاذَةَ , عَنْ صَفِيَّةَ , عَنْ عَائِشَةَ , أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " كَانَ يَغْتَسِلُ بِالصَّاعِ وَيَتَوَضَّأُ بِالْمُدِّ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would perform ablution with about one mudd of water and would perform ghusl with about one sa’ of water.
