Musnad Ahmad 25187 — Supplement to the Musnad of ‘A’ishah
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ يَعْنِي ابْنَ بِلَالٍ ، عَنْ شَرِيكِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عَتِيقٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " فِي عَجْوَةِ الْعَالِيَةِ شِفَاءٌ أَوْ تِرْيَاقٌ أَوَّلَ الْبُكْرَةِ عَلَى الرِّيقِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Eating the dates of Maqam Aliyah early in the morning on an empty stomach is a cure.
