Musnad Ahmad 25177 — Supplement to the Musnad of ‘A’ishah
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عَامِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي عَوْفُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ الطُّفَيْلِ ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ أَخْبَرَتْهُ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقُولُ : " يَا عَائِشَةُ ، إِيَّاكِ وَمُحَقِّرَاتِ الذُّنُوبِ ، فَإِنَّ لَهَا مِنَ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ طَالِبًا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O Aisha! Protect yourself from minor sins, for even about them there may be investigation before Allah.
