Musnad Ahmad 24934 — Supplement to the Musnad of ‘A’ishah
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ الْأَسْوَدِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " كَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى وَبِيصِ الطِّيبِ فِي مَفْرِقِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعْدَ أَيَّامٍ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha that (I used to apply the best perfume I had to the Prophet ﷺ and) it is as if that scene is still before my eyes that I saw the shine of musk on the head of the Prophet ﷺ while he was in the state of Ihram.
