مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَا

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَابِقٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ ، عَنْ أَبِي يَحْيَى الْقَتَّاتِ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : مَرَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى رَجُلٍ ، وَفَخِذُهُ خَارِجَةٌ ، فَقَالَ : " غَطِّ فَخِذَكَ ، فَإِنَّ فَخِذَ الرَّجُلِ مِنْ عَوْرَتِهِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by a man whose thigh was exposed. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Cover your thigh, for the thigh of a man is part of the 'awrah (private area)."
