مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَا

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بَكْرٍ ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ , قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُرِيدَ عَلَى ابْنَةِ حَمْزَةَ أَنْ يَتَزَوَّجَهَا ، فَقَالَ : " إِنَّهَا ابْنَةُ أَخِي مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ ، وَإِنَّهُ يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ مَا يَحْرُمُ مِنَ النَّسَبِ " .
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that a person once presented the daughter of Sayyiduna Hamza (may Allah be pleased with him) for marriage in the presence of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "She is my foster niece, and all those relationships that are prohibited due to lineage are also prohibited due to fosterage."
