Musnad Ahmad 24878 — Supplement to the Musnad of ‘A’ishah
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " كَانَ يَغْتَسِلُ وَيُصَلِّي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ ، لَا أُرَاهُ يُحْدِثُ وُضُوءًا بَعْدَ الْغُسْلِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha that the Prophet (peace be upon him) would perform ghusl and then offer two rak'ahs; it seems that he would not perform wudu after ghusl.
