Musnad Ahmad 24624 — Supplement to the Musnad of ‘A’ishah
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ الْأَلْهَانِيِّ ، سَمِعَ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ أَبِي قَيْسٍ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ عَائِشَةَ , تَقُولُ : " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الْوِصَالِ فِي الصِّيَامِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha that the Prophet (peace be upon him) forbade fasting continuously in such a way that one does not break the fast in between.
