حَدَّثَنَا حَيْوَةُ بْنُ شُرَيْحٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي بَحِيرُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِي زِيَادٍ خِيَارِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ , أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ عَائِشَةَ عَنِ الْبَصَلِ ؟ فَقَالَتْ : " إِنَّ آخِرَ طَعَامٍ أَكَلَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ طَعَامٌ فِيهِ بَصَلٌ " .
It is narrated from Abu Ziyad Khiyar bin Salamah that he asked Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) about eating garlic, so she replied that the last meal the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ate contained garlic.
