Musnad Ahmad 24484 — Supplement to the Musnad of ‘A’ishah
حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ بِلَالٍ ، عَنْ شَرِيكِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي نَمِرٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي عَتِيقٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِنَّ فِي تَمْرِ الْعَالِيَةِ شِفَاءً ، أَوْ قَالَ تِرْيَاقًا ، أَوَّلَ بُكْرَةٍ عَلَى الرِّيقِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Eating the dates of Maqam Aliyah early in the morning on an empty stomach is a cure.
