Musnad Ahmad 24033 — Hadith of Lady ‘A’ishah (may Allah be pleased)
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حُصَيْنٌ ، عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ يِسَافٍ ، عَنْ فَرْوَةَ بْنِ نَوْفَلٍ ، قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ عَنْ دُعَاءِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ؟ قَالَتْ : كَانَ يَقُولُ : " اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا عَمِلَتْهُ نَفْسِي " .
Furwah bin Nawfal says that I asked Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) about the supplication of the Prophet (peace be upon him), so she said that the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to supplicate: O Allah! I seek refuge in You from the evil of what my soul has done.
