حَدَّثَنَا بكْرُ بنُ عِيسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبو عَوَانَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَطَاءُ بنُ السَّائِب ، عَنْ أَبي زُهَيْرٍ ، عَنْ عَبدِ اللَّهِ بنِ برَيْدَةَ ، عَنْ أَبيهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " النَّفَقَةُ فِي الْحَجِّ كَالنَّفَقَةِ فِي سَبيلِ اللَّهِ بسَبعِ مِائَةِ ضِعْفٍ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Spending something in the journey of Hajj is like spending seven hundred times as much in the battlefield of Jihad.
