مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَا

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ الْعَطَّارُ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ زَيْدٍ , عَنْ أَبِي سَلَّام ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ مِينَاءَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنَّهُمَا سَمِعَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " لَيَنْتَهِيَنَّ أَقْوَامٌ عَنْ وَدْعِهِمْ الْجُمُعَاتِ ، أَوْ لَيَخْتِمَنَّ اللَّهُ عَلَى قُلُوبِهِم ، ْثُمَّ لَيُكْتَبُنَّ مِنَ الْغَافِلِينَ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar and Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said while he was sitting on the pulpit: "People should stop neglecting Jumu'ah, otherwise Allah Almighty will seal their hearts and will write them among the heedless."
