مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَا

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ بَابٍ ، عَنِ الْحَجَّاجِ ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ ، عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ : أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " احْتَجَمَ صَائِمًا مُحْرِمًا ، فَغُشِيَ عَلَيْهِ " , قَالَ : فَلِذَلِكَ كَرِهَ الْحِجَامَةَ لِلصَّائِمِ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had cupping done while he was in the state of ihram and fasting. Because of this, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) fainted, and for this reason, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) considered it disliked for a fasting person to have cupping done.
