مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَا

Musnad Ahmad 2208 — Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ شُجَاعٍ ، قَالَ : مَا أَحْفَظُهُ إِلَّا سَالِماً الْأَفْطَسُ الْجَزَرِيُّ ابْنُ عَجْلَانَ حَدَّثَنِي , عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : قال النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الشِّفَاءُ فِي ثَلَاثَةٍ : شَرْبَةِ عَسَلٍ ، وَشَرْطَةِ مِحْجَمٍ ، وَكَيَّةِ بنَارٍ ، وَأَنْهَى أُمَّتِي عَنِ الْكَيِّ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is healing in three things: drinking honey, cupping, and cauterizing with fire, but I forbid my Ummah from cauterizing."
