حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " نَهَى أَنْ يُصَلَّى إِذَا طَلَعَ قَرْنُ الشَّمْسِ أَوْ غَابَ قَرْنُهَا " ، وَقَالَ : " إِنَّهَا تَطْلُعُ بَيْنَ قَرْنَيْ شَيْطَانٍ " ، أَوْ " مِنْ بَيْنِ قَرْنَيْ شَيْطَانٍ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Zaid bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade performing prayer at the time of sunrise and sunset, and said that the sun rises between the two horns of Satan.
