حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ ، أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ جَابِرَ بْنَ سَمُرَةَ كَيْفَ كَانَ يَصْنَعُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا صَلَّى الصُّبْحَ ؟ قَالَ : " كَانَ يَقْعُدُ فِي مَقْعَدِهِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ " .
Samak asked Hazrat Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) what was the blessed practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) after offering the Fajr prayer. He replied: He used to remain seated in his place until the sun had risen.
