حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، أَخْبَرَنَا ثَابِتٌ ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ ، عَنْ عَائِذِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو أَنَّ صُهَيْبًا ، وَسَلْمَانَ ، وَبِلَالًا كَانُوا قُعُودًا ، فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ ، إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ : فَأَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَأَخْبَرَهُ بِذَلِكَ ، فَقَالَ : " يَا أَبَا بَكْرٍ " . .
Affan narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, Thabit informed us, from Muawiyah ibn Qurrah, from Aidh ibn Amr, that Suhaib, Salman, and Bilal were sitting, and he mentioned something similar, except that he said: Then the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, came, and he informed him of that, so he said: "O Abu Bakr..."
