حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ الْأَعْرَجِ ، عَنِ الْأَشْعَثِ بْنِ ثُرْمُلَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ قَتَلَ نَفْسًا مُعَاهَدَةً بِغَيْرِ ، حَقِّهَا فَقَدْ حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ الْجَنَّةَ أَنْ يَشُمَّ رِيحَهَا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever kills a Mu'ahid (a non-Muslim with a peace treaty) unjustly, Allah makes the fragrance of Paradise forbidden for him.
