مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَا

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ سُفْيَانُ : لَا أَعْلَمُهُ إِلَّا عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَوْ أَثَارَةٍ مِنْ عِلْمٍ سورة الأحقاف آية 4 , قَالَ : " الْخَطُّ " .
It is narrated, most likely as marfu‘, from Sayyiduna Ibn ‘Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that «أَوْ أَثَارَةٍ مِنْ عِلْمٍ» refers to writing.
