Musnad Ahmad 19892 — Hadith of Imran ibn Husayn
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا الْجُرَيْرِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ ، قَالَ : قِيلَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : إِنَّ فُلَانًا لَا يُفْطِرُ نَهَارًا ! قَالَ : " لَا أَفْطَرَ وَلَا صَامَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that a person said to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that such-and-such man never misses fasting during the day. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: He neither missed nor fasted.
